Decameron Hotels would like to inform its clients of the Aquarium Hotel in San Andrés and the public that, as a preventive measure to preserve the safety of its guests and employees, it has made the responsible decision to close the hotel's operations. Aquarium.
This decision is based on the preliminary results of an engineering study received on September 22, which indicates anomalies in the structure of the facilities and that could eventually compromise the physical stability of the hotel.
For Decameron, the priority is to guarantee the safety of its guests and employees and therefore, once we became aware of these findings, we decided to close the hotel and proceeded to develop a contingency plan so that guests currently staying at Aquarium are relocated to other Decameron hotels on the island or to allied hotels with which we have managed accommodations so that they can complete their stay in the best conditions.
To this end, we have arranged for a team of collaborators dedicated exclusively to supporting our guests and facilitating their transfer.
Meanwhile, another team is contacting customers with confirmed reservations in the coming days and weeks to offer them relocation alternatives or a refund in light of this situation.
For all customers of Decameron has an active and current reservation at the Aquarium Hotel in San Andrés. We have set up various exclusive customer service channels to resolve your concerns regarding this eventuality and manage your reservations.
We deeply regret the inconvenience and inconvenience caused by this decision and we apologize to all of our customers. We ask for your understanding in this situation, in which we have prioritized the safety and well-being of you and your families.
