Yellow Fever Vaccination Requirement for Travel to Ecuador
Starting May 12, 2025, the government of Ecuador will require a yellow fever vaccination certificate as an entry requirement to the country. If you plan to stay at one of our Decameron hotels in Ecuador, please note the following provisions
- Travelers of nationality or residence of Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Brazil and for travelers of any nationality or residence who have remained more than 10 days in transit or visit in these countries before entering Ecuador.
- The certificate must indicate that the vaccine was received at least 10 days before the trip.
- Ecuadorians or residents without a vaccination history and who have a planned trip to risk areas in the Ecuadorian Amazon, must be vaccinated 10 days before traveling.
Keep this information in mind when planning your trip and have a calm and smooth experience with Decameron.
