‘2017 Travelers’ Choice’ Awards confirm that families prefer us in Colombia

TripAdvisor, the world tourism network, a community of more than 390 million travelers around the globe, has launched its new edition of the Travelers’ Choice Awards, once more placing us as one of the preferred hotels for adults and children in Colombia.

And this time it is twofold, since both our resorts in the Eje Cafetero, Decameron Panaca and Decameron Heliconias have been awarded this popular award that evaluates and chooses through web opinions.

“In order to determine the winners of these awards, TripAdvisor has trusted in the experiences and comments of our travel community for the past 15 years, having visited thousands of hotels around the world”, said Barbara Messing, Marketing Director for TripAdvisor.

According to the network’s evaluations, 83% of travelers affirm that the TripAdvisor awards have been important when choosing a hotel. An award that “for those planning a trip in 2017 could inspire some to travel to some of the best locations in the world and make reservations in this diverse group of excellent lodging options”, added Messing.

The features taken into consideration for the winners of the Travelers’ Choice awards were service, quality and exceptional value. These awards have divided hotel in the categories of Top Hotels, Luxury, Bargain, Small Hotels, B&B and Inns, Romantic and Family.
