GUIDELINE REGULATING THE ADMISSION AND CONTROL OF SERVICE PETS AT DECAMERON HOTELS
At Decameron, we ensure the peace of mind of all guests while caring for service pets.

It is important to clarify that only service pets or guide dogs are allowed in our hotels. Emotional support or therapy animals are strictly prohibited.

Permitted Service Animals
Access is granted only to service pets individually trained to assist or perform tasks for individuals with physical, mental, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other disabilities.

Requirements and Documentation
Up-to-date vaccination record.

Updated health status certification.

Permanent identification tag.

ID card issued by an authorized institution accrediting the animal as a service pet.

Admission Process
Commercial teams must request authorization for reservations involving service animals due to the limit on pets allowed per hotel. Decisions regarding unauthorized pets are exclusive to management, without exemption from conditions and fees.

Control
Pets must always be on a leash or harness and accompanied at all times. In common areas, you will find spaces specially designed for them. For specific breeds that require it, a muzzle is mandatory.

Pet Deposit and Regulations
Fees
There is no charge for pet accommodation.

Security Deposit
Refundable at check-out if there are no damages or non-compliance.

Colombia: COP $200,000

Ecuador, Panama, El Salvador: USD $50

Jamaica: JMD $7,850

Mexico: MXN $860

Peru: No deposit applies

Guidelines
Always pick up waste in designated areas and bring your own pet food; using hotel linens for the pet will result in an extra charge.

Please do not bathe your pet inside the hotel or the room.

Keep the pet away from wet areas (pools/spas); failure to do so will result in a charge against the deposit.

If your pet causes a disturbance, you will receive a warning; if it persists, you will unfortunately be required to leave the hotel.

Upon departure, a room inspection is mandatory; damages or missing items will be deducted from the deposit, with additional charges if the amount is exceeded.

Maximum Number of Pets
Maximum of 1 pet per room for the safety and well-being of everyone.
