Included Tour: Colombian-Peruvian Experience, Isla de los Micos, and Puerto Alegría

An experience between Colombia and Peru where nature, culture, and wildlife come together. The journey begins with an approximate 45-minute boat ride along the Amazon River to reach Isla de los Micos.

During the visit, you will walk along interpretive trails accompanied by a local environmental guide and learn about the behavior, diet, and environment of the squirrel monkey (Saimiri). The island also offers space to observe Amazonian flora and fauna, practice birdwatching, and enjoy nature photography.

The experience allows you to discover part of the knowledge and artistic expressions of the Yagua and Ticuna indigenous peoples who inhabit the banks of the Amazon.

The tour finishes in Puerto Alegría, Peru, where the community presents three traditional dances and a display of handicrafts reflecting the culture of this border region.

The tour includes:

• Walk at Isla de los Micos: approximately 90 minutes.
• Minimum operation: 7 passengers.

• Return: 1:30 p.m.

Package Terms and Restrictions

• The published rate corresponds to one adult for four nights, in double occupancy and standard room.
• The offer requires a minimum stay of four consecutive nights.
• The offer applies under the breakfast-included plan.
• Tour operation requires a minimum of seven passengers.
• Each published rate has five available spots. Once exhausted, the reservation will be subject to the regular available rate.
• The offer cannot be combined with other promotions or rates.
• The rate requires full payment at the time of booking confirmation.
• The rate is non-refundable and does not allow changes, cancellations, or refunds.
• In case of a no-show on the day of the reservation, 100% of the paid amount will be charged.
• The last date indicated corresponds to the departure date from the hotel.
• Travelers must have a valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate, administered at least 10 days prior to travel.
• Additional charges incurred at the destination must be paid at the end of the stay.
• The hotel does not allow pets.
• Check-in is starting at 3:00 p.m.

Children's Ages

• Participation of minors in the tour is subject to safety, capacity, and operational conditions defined by Decameron Explorer.

Tour Conditions

• The tour is operated on a shared regular service basis.
• The activity must be coordinated directly at the destination at the Decameron Explorer counter.
• Decameron Explorer will inform the assigned date and time during the stay.
• The passenger must present the corresponding voucher.
• If the passenger fails to show up on the confirmed date and time, the service will be considered used and no refund will be issued.
• Programming is subject to weather, environmental, river, and operational conditions.
• Fauna and flora sightings depend on natural factors and cannot be guaranteed.
• If the service is unavailable, Decameron Explorer will inform about the applicable alternative.
• Dock fees and municipal taxes, when applicable, must be paid at destination in cash and local currency.
