Enjoy a fascinating excursion through ecological paths, forests and nature spots, unique in Colombia. In this Theme Park located in Quimbaya, heart of the coffee-growing region of Colombia, you will have the opportunity to interact with the stockbreeding processes and more than 4500 animals in the domestic zoo, through 8 stations and 5 exhibits, designed especially to generate fun and a learning experience.

Enjoy all the adventure and charm of the coffee culture, combined with the fun and adrenaline of 23 mechanical and cultural attractions. This Theme Park, located 10 minutes from the municipality of Montenegro, exhibits not only some of the world’s different varieties of coffee, but also its growing process to the final product sale; also a museum about the history of the coffee bean.
You may visit the Lookout Tower, which is considered a symbol of the Park and the province, and hike the Coffee Path which in its three and a half kilometers encircles the coffee processes, replicas of tombs of the pre-Colombian Quimbaya culture, the bridge of the muleteer, the hanging bride, and the magic and fantasy of the Path of Myths and Legends.

Valle del Cocora & Handicrafts in Salento
The Valley of Cocora extends in perpendicular form to the central Colombian mountain range and frames the Quindío River, creating a region of great ecotourism value due to its singular beauty and natural resources. It is the habitat of the Quindío Wax Palm – Colombia’s national tree, a majestic plant which grows more than 50 meters in height.

Traditional - Style Bamboo Rafting on the Rio la Vieja
Rafting is considered a practice which for centuries represented a source of survival for the riverside communities. Today it is a fascinating adventure consisting of a waterway route through calm waters, on rafts handmade by local artisans from bamboo, and framed by the beauty of the Quindian landscape.
The run through the river is an ecological trip which allows you to enjoy the river, bathing along its route and appreciating the variety of flora and fauna of the region; all of the former accompanied by the knowledge of a “boga” or river expert, and where moreover you will savor a fiambre (typical country lunch). An additional attraction is to observe on the river banks the local exploitation of construction materials.

City Tour & Mariposario (Butterfly House)
We will appreciate the majesty of a carefully preserved forest with 600 species of plants up to 200 years old, and a magical Mariposario with 1500 butterflies of 50 different species, located in the Municipality of Calarcá.
The tour continues in Armenia, capital of the province, visiting the Plaza de Bolívar, Founders' Park, and the Park of Life with 8 waterfalls which all end at the same lake, and a native forest of exuberant flora. We will visit the Quimbaya Cultural Center and Gold Museum where we will find a permanent archaeological exhibit from the beginnings of the population of America up to the present time, detailing the culture of our indigenous populations.
Finalizing the tour we will visit the Railroad Station, a magnificent construction in the Republican style, declared a National Monument and where today the Public Library functions.

Santa Rosa de Cabal Hot Springs
This tour invites us to enjoy the healthful and enchanting thermal waters of the region renowned for their medicinal powers. Discover the charms of nature and the pleasure of enjoying the wonders of the Santa Rosa de Cabal Hot Springs. Located in the center of the Coffee Axis at 9 km from the city of Pereira, in a natural setting surrounded by the most exuberant vegetation and mountains from which spring up cascades of thermal waters and cold water. The waters spring up from the earth at a temperature of 70º C and descend in cascades until they reach the pools at a temperature of almost 40º C.

The Nevados National Natural Park
An unforgettable and unique experience in a place filled with magic! The Nevados National Natural Park has an area of 58,300 hectares. It is situated on the highest part of the Central mountain range, which altogether is considered the highest of the three chains in which the Colombian Andes are divided. The point of departure to ascend to this fantastic place is the city of Manizales, capital of the province of Caldas, famous for its Carnival at the beginning of the month of January and a very important university center.
On this tour we will be ascending by 4-wheel drive vehicle little by little (with mandatory stops for climate adjusting) in order to admire the flora and fauna representative of each thermal floor. We will visit the Desert of Solitude, at 4,330 meters, which has an appearance similar to the surface of the moon. The story goes that it was a place of pilgrimage of the Quimbaya and Puya Indians which inhabited the zone. We will then reach the border of the Nevado del Ruiz Glacier, and finally stop at the hot springs El Otoño.

Experience the magic of flying over coffee plantations in the highest and longest Canopy of Colombia, with a route of 2000 metros, divided in seven stations with flights of 100 to 400 meters in distance and with steel cables located at heights of 40 to 70 meters, reaching speeds of up to 75 km per hour. During the run you may observe the beautiful scenery of the coffee region, with mountainsides of coffee trees sown in ordered furrows, bordered by luxuriant bamboo plants, heliconias, plantains, marvelous streams and the climbing wall.

We will take an interesting and pleasant guided tour of the Coffee Culture where visitors may enjoy the experiences of farm work in a fun, participative and didactic form. RECUCA allows us to get acquainted with the fantastic and mythical history of coffee and the Antioquia colonization. From cultivation one passes to the joy of the harvest, where the participants may try on the attire characteristic of the coffee collectors, and try their hand at the same labors, which leads to the traditional community work area, where the coffee beans are extracted and dried. Finally, you learn about the technical process which meets all the specifications established by the National Federation of Colombian Coffee Growers.

Religious Tourism, Paraiso Estate & Sugar Cane Museum
We will visit the city of Buga, developed under an urban structure of the 17th and 18th centuries, which still conserves monuments of historical importance. We will visit the Antique Cathedral, the Temple of San Francisco and the National Palace. In Buga, devotion to the Cristo Milagroso brings several hundred thousand pilgrims every year from within the country, Venezuela and Central America, who congregate in a Sanctuary to worship him.
We will continue our route to El Paraíso estate, a place full of history and literature. Due to its beautiful scenery it was the source of inspiration for the famous writer, Jorge Isaacs, the author of La Maria, considered the masterpiece of the Colombian and Latin American novel of the 19th century, and one of the best examples of romanticism in the Spanish language.
We will also visit the Sugar Cane Museum, located on the Hacienda Piedechinche, only 42 km from the city of Cali. The museum has gathered a valuable exhibit of one of the most important plants for food and the economy of the Colombian people. This hacienda is known also for its architectural beauty and the majesty of its gardens.

Bird Watching - Horizontes Nature Reserve
This is a morning excursion in the Horizontes Nature Reserve in the municipality of Circasia. Horizontes is a private nature reserve located 1780 m above sea level in the Espejo River basin, where the biodiversity and sources of the water are protected. In its forests and gardens 199 species of birds have been registered, among which stand out parrots, toucans, trepatroncos, tángaras, sparrow-hawks, hummingbirds, turpiales and reinitas. It is also possible to observe migratory birds originating in Canada and the United States. Introduction to the basic techniques for observation and identification of birds. Hike of 3 hours through gardens and natural forest paths. This is a slow walk including pauses to observe the birds.

Vineyards of la Union and Omar Rayo Museum (Roldanillo). Valle del Cauca

We will start our tour visiting the town of Quimbaya, which is found on the western branches of the central mountain range, in the western part of the Quindio Department and in a strategic zone communicating with the Valle del Cauca. Its zone of influence is greater over the towns of the north Valle. It is characterized as a town with ample touristic and cultural development, cradle of the Festival of Candles and Lanterns. We will make a visit to the handicrafts market located in the Quimbaya Village.
To wind up the tour we will visit Filandia, one of the loveliest towns of Quindio, called the "Illuminated Hill of Quindio." The town is considered a Cultural and Environmental Heritage of Colombia, where visitors come from many different places. Here we will enjoy a marvelous landscape from an imposing mirador (viewpoint). The town is characterized by its urban architecture with traditional colorful balconies, wide sidewalks, streets full of handicrafts and sites for encounters full of history and human warmth
